Ledgers is an independent firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Old Warden, Hertfordshire on the borders of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
No query is too small (or too large) and we are always happy to answer clients’ queries promptly and in clear, easily understandable terms. Running a small business isn’t always easy, and as a small business ourselves we understand the challenges involved in making it succeed. We are always available to offer good quality, honest advice and assistance.
Not all accountants provide the same services. Our aim is to provide outstanding services to all of our clients and we are happy to offer:
Telephone and e-mail support at any reasonable time. We understand that queries are often urgent and when we cannot resolve queries immediately we promise to get back to you within 24 hours (except weekends).
We are always available for meetings, just ask us for an appointment.
Accounts and Tax Returns will be completed within 30 days (subject to receiving all of the necessary information), although work undertaken in December and January may take longer due to the January Tax Return deadline. All other work will be completed promptly.

Jenny Highland FCCA, Director
Jenny qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and has over 30 years experience in accountancy practice and industry.
Jenny set up Ledgers in 2009 to offer clients a personal, friendly service to individuals and small businesses who find that larger firms can be expensive and don’t always cater for clients' individual needs. Changes happen all the time and it’s our job to inform and advise clients so that we can take appropriate action. When your Accounts and tax affairs are in good order you can concentrate on running your business and considering its future direction and plans. In this way we can help your business to grow to its maximum potential.

Cassie Highland BSc (Hons), Junior Accountant
Cassie joined Ledgers in 2023, and she is currently studying for her ACCA exams.
Cassie is responsible for running the payrolls at Ledgers, and she also assists clients with bookkeeping services and year-end Accounts.
Cassie currently holds a Bachelor of science from Nottingham Trent University.
